We are seeking a professional, creative, and driven Marketing Coordinator to join our growing team. As a key part of our high-performing, fast-paced environment, you’ll work directly with our founder to bring 40 Watt Coaching’s unique brand to life. The ideal candidate is familiar with the dynamics of small business entrepreneurship, has a passion for lifelong learning, and can develop and execute marketing strategies that will increase our visibility and grow our corporate relationships.

You’ll be perfect for this role if you are proactive, able to anticipate needs before they arise, and take ownership of projects. You can craft content that reflects our founder's voice in a way that feels natural and compelling. You have an eye for design and can repurpose content across multiple platforms to expand our reach. A foundation in corporate marketing and familiarity with working with coaches or consultants will provide you with the confidence to bring fresh ideas to the table, while maintaining precision and strategic vision.

Responsibilities (tasks associated with the role)

  • Strategic Marketing
    • Provide creative ideas and vision for marketing initiatives to grow the 40 Watt Coaching brand.
    • Monitor and evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns, optimizing efforts to drive business growth.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our marketing strategy.
  • Social Media Management
    • Develop a content strategy tailored to LinkedIn’s professional audience.
    • Create and curate engaging content, including posts, articles, and visuals that reflect our voice.
    • Track the performance of your content and campaigns, analyzing metrics to improve results.
    • Engage with comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely, professional manner.
    • Stay current on social media trends and best practices to keep our strategy sharp.
  • Content & Website Management
    • Audit and manage website updates, ensuring brand consistency and story accuracy.
    • Repurpose content across multiple channels to maximize reach and engagement.
    • Draft content for blog posts, newsletters, and social media – ensuring all content is aligned with our founder's voice.
    • Assist with video editing and creating graphics using Canva or similar tools.
  • Community Engagement & Outreach
    • Assist with LinkedIn outreach, building relationships through the founder’s profile and responding to inquiries.
    • Help manage and engage with our online community, ensuring our mission and values are clear and present in all interactions.

Requirements (expected proficiencies to excel in this role)

This position is for a person who is:

  • 2+ years of experience in corporate marketing, content creation, or social media management.
  • College degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn marketing strategies.
  • Experience working with coaches, consultants, or in a client-facing role is highly desired.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive, self-starter attitude with the ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects.
  • Positive, growth-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Ability to accept feedback, pivot when needed, and collaborate with the team to achieve results.
  • Must have access to a reliable computer, internet connection, and a distraction-free work environment.

Offer Details

This is a remote, part-time, contractor position requiring 10-15 hours per week.

Hourly pay starts at $35-$40 (depending on experience).
